Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a unique, time-based one-time password (TOTP) from a mobile authenticator app, in addition to your regular username and password. You will learn how to enable 2FA on your account.
Prerequisites
You must have a mobile device with an authentication app installed, such as Twilio Authy Authenticator.
VendorPanel - a Unimarket Company has enabled 2FA as an optional feature for all users, including suppliers.
Steps
Install an Authentication App: Install a Time-based One Time Password (TOTP) app on your mobile device.
Our recommendation: Twilio Authy Authenticator (available for iPhone and Android).
Note: The security app may provide recovery codes; keep these on file in case your app fails.
Navigate to Profile Options: Go to your profile options within your account on VendorPanel - a Unimarket Company.
Start 2FA Setup: Select Setup and manage your 2FA.
Scan the QR Code: On the screen that appears, use your authentication app to scan the QR code. This will add VendorPanel - a Unimarket Company to your authenticator app.
Enter Verification Code: On the next page, enter the verification code that your authentication app generates to test that the setup works.
Results / Validation
2FA is now enabled for your account. The next time you log in, you will be prompted to enter a verification code from your authenticator app, along with your username (email) and password.
