Audience: All Users
Prerequisites
You must have an authentication security app (TOTP app) installed on your mobile device, such as the recommended Twilio Authy Authenticator.
Steps
Follow these steps to set up 2FA:
Navigate to your profile options and select Setup and manage your 2FA.
Review the information about 2FA and its benefits, then click the Setup 2FA option to begin.
Install an authentication security app (TOTP app) on your mobile device if you haven't already.
Note: These apps generate the second, one-time password required for login. You should also save any recovery codes (backup codes) provided by the app in case the app fails.
On the setup screen, scan the QR Code displayed using your mobile device's authenticator app.
Alternatively, you can use the Key provided if your device has trouble recognizing the QR code.
After the account is added to your app, click on Next in the software.
Enter the code provided for your account within the authenticator app on your device.
Click on Verify to confirm the code.
Results / Validation
If successful, you will receive a prompt and can continue to the system with 2FA enabled.
What's Next / Related
The next time you log in, you will be prompted to provide a verification code from your authenticator app.
Limits & Notes
By default, users have a one-month grace period to set up 2FA if your organisation has made it mandatory.
It is strongly recommended to complete the setup before the grace period ends to avoid confusion.
