View Approval History

The Approval History provides a clear, searchable record of all approval events associated with a submission. You can view the history in the Approvals dashboard for a system-wide view or on the submission record itself for specific details.

Steps

You can view the approval history in two primary ways:

1. Via the Approvals Dashboard (System-Wide View)

  1. Navigate to the Approvals dashboard.

  2. Use the available filters to locate the specific approval you are looking for.

2. Via the Submission Record (Specific Details)

  1. Open the specific submission record.

  2. Locate the section that displays the approval history. The submission record shows a clear history of all specific approval events that occurred for that submission.

Results / Validation

The approval history record provides the following details to confirm the approval event:

  • Whether the approval was conducted in-system or through a service like DocuSign.

  • The approver's role at the time of approval.

  • The identity of the approver and if the approval was done on their behalf.

  • The date and time of the approval.

  • Any comments made by the approver when making their decision.
