Prerequisites
Access to the Contract Admin Area is restricted. You must have the appropriate Admin role or permissions.
Key Ideas: Administrator Capabilities
The Contract Admin Area is accessible via the Go to Admin Area button located above the contract title.
It allows administrators to perform the following contract adjustments:
Modify Initial End Dates: Correct or adjust the initial end date of a contract, even after it has been activated. This is used for rectifying data entry errors or accommodating pre-agreed changes.
Update Imported Values: Directly amend data fields that were brought into the system during initial implementation to ensure historical data accuracy.
Re-assign Vendors: Seamlessly update the vendor associated with a contract for internal restructures or when a formal novation process is not required.
Adjust Approved Extensions & Variations: Make necessary modifications to contract extension or variation details that have already been approved without needing to undo and redo entire approval processes.
Link to Procurement Plan: Directly associate contracts with their corresponding procurement plans to enhance visibility and create a clear audit trail.
Link to Market Request: Establish a clear connection between a contract and its originating market request (e.g., RFP, RFQ) to solidify the contract lifecycle breadcrumb trail.
