You can update the Expected Decision Date for a Request or Tender, which informs Suppliers when they should expect an outcome for their submissions. This article shows you how to extend the date after the Request has already closed.
Prerequisites
You must be an Admin or a user with the appropriate role and permissions to edit Requests.
Steps
- To extend an expected decision date, locate the desired Request and click the blue arrow icon to its right.
- In the pop-up box, select the Extend decision date option.
- Select the length of time you want to extend the decision date by (e.g., 7 days, 14 days).
- Click the Save and Continue button to apply the change.
Results / Validation
Suppliers will be notified of the extension to the Expected Decision Date. You can confirm the new date is visible on the Request.
Limits & Notes
- You can set the initial Expected Decision Date when creating the Request on the Submission Dates tab.
- You can edit the date as many times as you like while the Request is still open.
- Once the Request is closed, the Expected Decision Date can be extended a maximum of three times.
