Super Administrator Role Overview

  • Updated

A Super Administrator is the highest-level user profile on the platform. This role inherits all permissions of lower-tier roles (Panel/Local Group Administrators, Local Group Managers, and Buyers) and includes several exclusive, high-level features.

Prerequisites

You must be logged in as a Super Administrator to utilise the exclusive features listed below.

Key Ideas (Role and Permissions)

The Super Administrator role possesses all the responsibilities of lower-tier roles, in addition to the following exclusive features:

  • User Impersonation: A Super Admin can impersonate any user within the enterprise, which is useful for troubleshooting platform issues.
  • Enterprise-Wide Reporting: Super Admins can run reports across the entire enterprise, without local group or list restrictions.
    • They can also delegate additional reporting permissions to another Administrator, allowing that Administrator to run reports with Super Admin access.
  • Administrator Management: Super Admins manage the enterprise Administrators Group.
    • This includes inviting new Local Group/Panel Administrators, and promoting or demoting existing Administrators.
  • Ownership Transfer: They are responsible for transferring ownership of a Local Group or a Supplier List to another Administrator.
