Supplier Intelligence credentials show a supplier's ESG and social impact credentials, such as Modern Slavery and Indigenous business status, using publicly available data. Buyers see them in Go to Market. Contract staff also see them in Contracts Lite and Advanced Contract Management. Use them to find and select suppliers that match your organisation's supplier selection process or social responsibility goals.

This article is for buyers, contract staff and administrators.

Before you start

• Go to Market: A core set of givvable credentials is included for all Unimarket (VendorPanel) organisations.
• Contracts: Credentials in contracts are available in Contracts Lite and Advanced Contract Management.
• Administrators: You need Administrator access to choose which credential types your organisation sees in Contract modules.

How credentials work

Credentials are applied to supplier profiles automatically. Suppliers and buyers do not need to do anything to activate them.

Powered by givvable: givvable, Unimarket's ESG data partner, sources and verifies the credential data. It updates regularly, so new suppliers are badged on an ongoing basis. Your organisation can also show custom credentials alongside the givvable credentials in contracts.

Engagement credentials: Two more credentials show your organisation's history with a supplier.

• GTM Responded: The number of sourcing opportunities the supplier has responded to with your organisation.
• GTM Success: The number of jobs your organisation has awarded the supplier.

Daily sync in contracts: Credential data in contracts syncs daily. You can refresh it on demand when you need the latest status.

How Credentials Work

Credentials data is automatically applied to supplier profiles — no action is required from suppliers or buyers to activate them. Credentials appear on supplier lists throughout the Go to Market module, so buyers can identify credentialed suppliers at a glance.

Two additional credentials reflect supplier engagement history within your organisation:

• GTM Responded — shows the number of sourcing opportunities the supplier has responded to with your organisation.
• GTM Success — shows the number of jobs the supplier has been awarded by your organisation.

Use credentials in Go to Market

Credentials show on supplier lists throughout the Go to Market module. You can check them without leaving the sourcing workflow.

Spot credentialed suppliers

When you review suppliers for a sourcing opportunity, look for credential icons on each supplier card. They show which suppliers hold credentials such as modern slavery compliance, environmental certifications or Indigenous business status.

Filter suppliers by credential

Use the supplier filter in Go to Market to list only suppliers that hold a specific credential. This helps when your organisation has a policy requirement. For example, you can source only from suppliers with an active modern slavery statement or an environmental management certification.

Check supplier engagement history

The GTM Responded and GTM Success credentials show how often a supplier has engaged with your sourcing opportunities. Use them to judge reliability and responsiveness before you invite a supplier to a new opportunity.

Use credentials in contracts

In Contracts Lite and Advanced Contract Management, you can check a supplier's credentials without leaving the contract. This gives you current supplier information when you set up, manage or review a contract.

Supplier credentials, such as Indigenous and Modern Slavery credentials, show on these contract tabs:

• Contract Summary
• Setup
• Vendor

Refresh credentials on demand

Credential data syncs daily. For a critical decision, refresh it yourself to check the supplier's current status. A single click refreshes the credentials.

Credential snapshots at Award and Closure

The system saves a full set of the supplier's credentials at two points. This gives you a probity record of what was true when you made each decision.

• Award: When a supplier is awarded through the Go to Market module.
• Closure: When the contract is closed.

A snapshot does not change if the supplier's status changes later. Years on, you can still see which credentials the supplier held at award and at closure.

Choose which credentials your organisation sees

Administrators control which credential types show in contracts. Use this to show users only the credentials that are relevant and that your organisation is entitled to see. See: Choose which Supplier Intelligence credentials users can see in Contracts

Report on contract spend by credential

Reporting fields let you export credential data to Excel. You can total contract values by credential type. For example, you can report your total spend with Indigenous suppliers.

Standard credentials

All Unimarket (VendorPanel) organisations see these givvable credentials by default (freemium). Go to Market lists also show GTM Responded and GTM Success.

Troubleshooting

A credential does not appear on a supplier profile

givvable sources credential data automatically. The supplier may not hold the credential, or givvable may not have verified it yet. You cannot force a credential to appear.

I cannot see a credential type in a contract

An Administrator controls which credential types your organisation sees. Ask them to check Settings ▸ Vendor ▸ SI Credentials.

A credential in a contract looks out of date

Credential data syncs daily. Refresh the credentials on demand to get the current status. A snapshot saved at Award or Closure does not change, by design.

A credential looks incorrect

givvable manages credential data. Raise a query with your Unimarket (VendorPanel) support contact. They can work with givvable to investigate.

Limits and notes

• Credentials in contracts are available in Contracts Lite and Advanced Contract Management only.
• Credential data in contracts syncs daily. Use the on-demand refresh for the latest status.
• The Award snapshot applies when a supplier is awarded through the Go to Market module.
• Snapshots are a fixed record. Refreshing credentials does not change them.
