Super Admins or Panel Administrators use Category Tags to add searchable keywords to sub-categories, improving discovery for Buyers during the RFx wizard and supplier browsing. This feature applies only to sub-categories, not main Categories.
Prerequisites
Role: Super Admin or Panel Administrator.
Steps

Select Enterprise Supplier Lists
Navigate to Admin Tools and select Enterprise Supplier Lists (accessible either from the top menu bar or the left-side menu on the homepage).

Access Category Management
Click the Manage Categories link on the left menu.

Expand and Edit Sub-Category
Click the plus icon to the left of a category to display the sub-categories.
Click on the edit link to the right of the desired sub-category to open the editing view.

Enter Category Tag Name
Under the Add Category Tags section, enter the desired name for your category tag.
Note: Category tags can be up to 64 characters long and accept all symbols except underscores (_), ALT characters, and emojis.

Add the Tag
Click the blue Add button.
Expected Result: The tag will be listed. You can add multiple tags to one sub-category. To remove an existing tag, click the black cross icon next to it.

Set Tag Status (Optional)
Click the respective radio buttons to set the category tag as active or inactive.

Finalise Changes
Click Save or Save & Add new to complete the process.
Results / Validation
The newly created Category Tags will be visible in the editing section for the sub-category.
Buyers can now search for these keywords in the RFx wizard and the Browse Suppliers by Category search, which will present the associated sub-category for selection.
Suppliers will be able to mouse over the sub-category on the Category selection page to view the assigned Category Tags.
