Add Qualification Requirements to a Supplier List

This article provides the step-by-step instructions for Super Admins or Panel Administrators to add new qualification requirements to a Supplier List. This is typically done to prompt suppliers registered on the list to complete, fill in, or provide specific information.

Prerequisites

To perform this task, you must have one of the following roles/permissions:

  • Super Admin

  • Panel Administrator

Steps

Follow these steps to add qualification requirements to an existing Supplier List:

  1. Navigate to the Supplier Lists area.

    • Click Admin Tools in the top menubar or the left-side menu.

    • Select Enterprise Supplier Lists.

  2. Edit the relevant Supplier List.

    • Click on the three vertical dots to the right of the relevant supplier list.

    • Click on the Edit this list option.

  3. Access the Qualification tab.

    • Within the Supplier List Wizard, click the Supplier Qualification tab at the top of the page.

    • Click the Add new item button.

  4. Define the qualification item.

    • In Step 1, fill out the necessary fields (Name & Description) and review all settings.

    • Click Next.

  5. (Optional) Upload a template.

    • In Step 2, you can upload a template or document that will be visible and accessible to suppliers.

  6. (Optional) Create statements or questions.

    • In Step 3, you can create questions for the supplier to acknowledge or answer, setting the response format (text, number, $ value, yes/no, etc.) and whether the question is mandatory.

      • To create questions, click the Edit questions button.

      • Click the Add new item button.

      • Type the statement or question in the textbox.

      • Select the format that suppliers respond in.

      • To save and add another item, click the Add another new item button.

      • When finished, click the Save button below.

    • Click Save to save your upload and/or questions.

  7. Activate the requirement.

    • In Step 4, select the Make active option if the qualification requirement is ready to be sent to suppliers.

  8. Complete the qualification requirement setup.

    • Click Save and finish.

  9. Enable the active items for suppliers.

    • Select the Yes - enable all active items option at the bottom of the page.

    • Click Save and Continue to save your changes.

  10. Finalise your changes.

    • You will be directed to the List Complete tab.

    • Click the blue Finish button.

Results / Validation

Your new qualification requirement will now be added to the list and accessible to registered suppliers.
