Extend Reporting Permissions for an Administrator

  • Updated

This article provides steps for the Super Admin to grant other administrators (Local Group Admin and Supplier List Admin) extended reporting permissions across the entire environment. Use this when an administrator needs to extract reports as if they were the Super Admin.

Prerequisites

  • You must have the Super Admin role.

  • The target user must be an existing Administrator (Local Group Admin or Supplier List Admin).

Steps

  1. Head to Local Groups & Users under your Admin Tools.

  2. To the right of the Administrators group, click the numbered bubble below the Admin/Mgrs column.

  3. Click on the action arrow to the right of the administrator you are providing the extended reporting permissions to.

  4. From the menu, select Extended permissions for this user.

  5. Tick the checkbox to enable extended reporting permissions.

  6. Save the permissions.

Results / Validation

The selected administrator can now run reports that contain information across your environment without their typical user permissions restriction.

Limits & Notes

  • This functionality is only intended to allow the user to extract reports as the Super Administrator.

  • This does not change the Administrator's access to view requests, lists, or other information.
