Invite Additional Users in Contracts Monitor

This article explains the step-by-step process for a Contracts Monitor (CM) Super Administrator to invite new users to their organisation's CM platform. Use this process when you need to grant access to a colleague within your enterprise.

Prerequisites

  • You must have the Super Administrator role for your Contracts Monitor enterprise.

  • You must have available invitations (licenses) remaining.

Steps

Follow these steps to invite a new user to Contracts Monitor:

  1. On the Contracts Monitor home page, click on the Switch to Enterprise view button on the Personal Dashboard.

    • Result: You will see a summary of the number of Contracts and Users in your CM enterprise.

  2. Select Manage to the right of the Users heading.

    • Result: The Manage your users page opens, showing license details and a breakdown of current users (name, email, type, status).

  3. To invite more users, click on the Invite more users link in the top right corner of the page.

  4. On the Manage user invitations page, locate the Invite someone to use Contracts Monitor for your business section on the right.

  5. Fill out the required details, entering the new user's name and email address.

  6. Select the user's permissions:

    • Contract Manager: The user can add, edit, and delete contracts for your organisation.

    • Contract Viewer: The user can only view contracts and cannot add, edit, or delete them.

  7. Select Invite to send the invitation.

    • Result: The invited user receives an email to accept the invitation and complete registration.

Results / Validation

  • After sending the invitation, the user's details will appear in the Manage your users and Manage user invitations pages with a pending status.

  • Once the user accepts the invitation and completes registration, their status will update to active in these pages.

What's Next / Related

  • You can select to delete any pending invitations from the Manage your users page if they haven't been accepted yet.

Limits & Notes

  • The system tracks the maximum number of licenses available, the number of users invited, and the number of invitations still available for your CM enterprise.

  • If you reach your maximum number of licenses, you will not be able to send new invitations. Reach out to your Account Manager to get the limit increased.
