Use Map Servers (LGA Boundaries) to Filter Suppliers

  • Updated

Use Map Servers (such as Local Government Area or LGA Boundaries) in the Request Wizard to filter suppliers based on predefined geographic regions instead of the standard distance filter.

Prerequisites

The Map Servers functionality (including LGA Boundaries) must be activated for your organisation. If you need access, contact your Customer Success or Account Manager.

Steps

  1. Create or open a Request Start a new Request (e.g., RFx) or open an existing draft.

  2. Navigate to the Select Suppliers step Proceed through the Request Wizard until you reach the Select Suppliers step.

  3. Select a boundary filter Find the supplier filter dropdown. It may be defaulted to a distance filter (e.g., 'km') or a boundary name. Click the dropdown and select the desired boundary configuration, such as LGA Boundaries or Postcodes.

  4. View the map boundaries (Optional) To the right of the filter dropdown, click the Map tab. This will display the boundaries selected in the active filter.

Results / Validation

The list of suppliers will immediately update to only display those whose set location falls within the selected geographic boundary.

Limits & Notes

  • This functionality allows your organisation to define and customise regions relevant to your needs.

  • It provides additional distance options alongside the standard distance filter.
