Add Compliances to a Vendor

  • Updated

You can add a compliance (such as a certificate of currency) to a Vendor record in Advanced Contract Management (ACM) and link it to one or more contracts. Use this when you receive a new vendor compliance document.

Prerequisites

You need a user role with permissions in ACM to edit Vendor records or active contracts.

Steps: From the Home Page

Follow these steps to add a compliance by starting from the Home page:

  1. From the Home page, navigate to the Vendors tile.

  2. Locate and select your Vendor.

  3. Click on the Tracking tab.

  4. Select the Compliances sub-tab. The table displayed here shows any compliances already added.

  5. Click the + button on the table to add a new compliance.

  6. Select a Compliance Type and Expiry date.

  7. Attach the Certificate of Currency (optional).

  8. Once added, you can link the compliance to any of the vendor's contracts.

Steps: From an Active Contract

Follow these steps to add a compliance by starting from an active contract:

  1. Open an active contract.
  2. In the tab bar, click the Vendor tab. The tab name can vary.
  3. In the Compliance health section, click the + icon (+ Register a new compliance). The registration fields open.
  4. Select the Compliance Type, Start Date and End Date, then click Add to list. The compliance appears in the list as pending creation.
  5. Check the new compliance in the list, then click Add Compliance. The compliance is created.
  6. Check the Compliance health section. The new compliance now appears there.

Results / Validation

  • If you added the compliance from the Home page, it is linked to the Vendor record. You can link it to any of the vendor’s contracts.
  • If you added it from an active contract, it is linked to both the Vendor record and that Contract.
