1. Standalone Contract

  • A Standalone Contract is any contract that is not a part of a Panel Contract.

  • It does not have a parent (head agreement) or a child (subcontract).

  • Has an allocated Contract Owner who is responsible for managing the contract.

2. Panel Contract

A Panel Contract refers to a set of contracts structured as a hierarchy of a head agreement (parent) and its associated subcontracts (children).

Head Agreement (Parent)

  • Can have child subcontracts.

  • Has clauses that apply to all its subcontracts.

  • Has an allocated Contract Manager who is responsible for managing the head agreement.

Subcontract (Child)

  • Sits under a parent head agreement.

  • Has an associated vendor.

  • Has an allocated Contract Owner who is responsible for managing the subcontract.
