Transfer the management of a Request or Tender to another Buyer, typically when you are unavailable for an extended period. Once transferred, the new Buyer manages the request within their account.
Prerequisites
You must have the Buyer role.
Steps: Transferring a Request/Tender
Follow these steps to transfer a Request or Tender to another user within your Local Group:
- Click the three vertical dots to the right of the relevant Request/Tender and click Transfer to another user within the pop-up box.
- From the list of available users, select the user you want to transfer the Request/Tender to.

- Choose the transfer duration:
- Temporarily: The selected user can only transfer the request back to the original owner. They cannot transfer it to a third user.
- Permanently: The selected user gains full ownership and can transfer the request again to any other user they have access to.
- Optionally, select the On a certain date option and choose the dates to queue the system to transfer and transfer back the request.
- Click the Transfer button to complete the action.
Results / Validation
The Request/Tender will now be managed by the selected user.
Limits & Notes
- Local Group Restriction: Depending on your enterprise's settings, you may only be able to transfer Requests and Tenders to people in your own Local Group.
- If you can only transfer within your Local Group, contact your Super Admin to transfer the request to a user in a different Local Group. The Super Admin must impersonate your account to perform this action.
- Scheduled transfers use Midnight UTC. If a Request is set to transfer to or from another user on a specific date, the transfer occurs at 12:00 AM (Midnight) UTC, which is 10:00 AM AEST or 11:00 AM AEDT.
