You can edit a Request or Tender while it is open to make changes or updates. You can also reopen a closed Request or Tender by extending the closing date if you haven't unlocked Supplier responses yet.
Prerequisites
To perform this task, you must be the Buyer or have appropriate permissions to edit the Request or Tender.
Steps
- To edit an open Request or Tender, click the three vertical dots icon to the right of it.
- Select the Edit this request option within the pop-up box.
- This will take you back to the Request Wizard.

- Click the step you want to make changes to.
- After making changes on a step, click the Continue / Update / Save and Continue button at the bottom of the step.
- Once all edits are complete, navigate to the Save & Update step.
- To notify Suppliers of the changes, enter a summary of the changes into the Notify Suppliers of Changes? box.
- Note: The content of this textbox will be included in the email sent to Suppliers and in the Updates section of the Request Details. If this box is empty, Suppliers will not be notified of the update.
- If you want all suppliers to be notified, check the box next to Send to all.
- If this box is not checked, the update will only be sent to suppliers who have read the request details.
- Note: Suppliers that have declined to respond will not be sent the update email.
- Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
Results / Validation
Your Request or Tender is updated and remains open. If you entered a summary and selected the notification options, relevant suppliers will receive an email notification of the change.

Limits & Notes
- You cannot uninvite Suppliers to a Request or Tender.
- If you need a Request to be hidden from Suppliers, you will need to make it inactive.
- If the Request or Tender is closed, you can only reopen it by extending the closing date if you have not yet unlocked the Supplier responses.
