Roles Overview
Advanced evaluations use two primary roles:
- Evaluation Chair
- Evaluation Panel Member
Each role has distinct access rights and responsibilities to ensure evaluation integrity and accountability.
Evaluation Chair
The Evaluation Chair has full oversight of a specific evaluation and is responsible for managing access, scoring coordination, and final submission.
Responsibilities
- Access all information related to the assigned evaluation
- Assign evaluation panel members
- Grant or restrict panel access to:
- Supplier responses
- Supporting documentation
- Manage consensus scoring
- Submit the completed evaluation for approval
Access & Permissions
- Full visibility of:
- All responses
- All documents
- All individual and consensus scores
- Ability to control what panel members can see
- Authority to finalise and submit the evaluation
Evaluation Panel Member
The Evaluation Panel Member contributes to the evaluation by reviewing assigned materials and completing individual scoring.
Responsibilities
- Review responses and documents shared by the Evaluation Chair
- Complete individual scoring
- Participate in evaluation approval (if assigned)
Access & Permissions
- Access only to:
- Responses and documents explicitly shared by the Evaluation Chair
- Visibility limited to:
- Their own scores
- Their own comments
Notes & Limits
- Access for panel members is explicitly controlled by the Evaluation Chair.
- Approval requirements may vary depending on approval workflow.
