KPI Uplift in Contract Management

The KPI functionality in Contract Management has been updated to provide better utility and improved usability, including new dashboards and an updated default vendor scoring method.

Key Ideas

The KPI uplift introduces several key improvements to how Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are managed and viewed in Contract Management.

Contract Summary Dashboard

  • You can now view the total score across all KPIs directly on the Contract Summary Dashboard.

Performance Dashboard

  • The Performance dashboard now provides detailed information and tooling.

    • Detailed performance: View performance against all KPIs.

    • KPI Management: Ability to add new and manage existing KPIs.

    • Upcoming Reviews: See upcoming or due performance reviews.

    • Supplier Visibility: Visibility on the supplier's performance on other contracts.

KPI Setup

  • The setup process for KPIs is now easier to follow.

New Default Vendor Score Method

  • For all new contracts, the default Vendor Score method is now 'percentage of targets met on KPIs'.

  • Existing contracts will retain their previous default of 'average vendor score from contracts'.

Results / Validation

You can confirm the new functionality is active by checking the Contract Summary Dashboard for the total KPI score and by navigating to the new Performance dashboard.

Limits & Notes

  • The new default Vendor Score method only applies to new contracts.

  • Existing contracts must have the score method changed manually if the new method is desired
