Initial Assessment

An Initial Assessment guides procurement officers at the beginning of the procurement process by presenting a set of questions to determine the procurement approach and an associated risk value. The results can trigger a more detailed Value Risk Assessment if the risk score is high enough.

Prerequisites

  • Audience: Procurement Officer

  • Permissions: You must have administrative rights to customize the questionnaire and result output.

Steps

  1. Click on Start Assessment button during the Planning Stage.

  2. Select Start in the Assessment Overview.

  3. Respond to the questionnaire and Submit.

Results / Validation

The questionnaire will now be available to procurement officers in the procurement process. The assessment will successfully output a procurement approach and risk value based on the responses.

What's Next / Related

  • Value Risk Assessment: If if the risk score is high enough, you will see the option to start the Value Risk Assessment after the Initial Assessment,
     
    Complete the Risk Assessment questions and submit the responses.


    Once the Risk Assessment is completed, the value and risk score can be reviewed and will output a procurement approach.

Limits & Notes

  • Customisation: The questionnaire and result output for the assessment can be customised by Admins.
